This collection contains 93 boxes of records on the Arizona Cotton
Grower’s Association (ACGA) which was formed in 1942 to help
resolve problems common to the cotton grower. Series include Public
Relations, Committees, Resolutions, Legislation, Board of Directors,
and Correspondence.
Hudson
Cotton Company Collection-MSS 120
The Hudson Cotton Company was founded by Estmer W. Hudson. Hudson
worked for the United States Department of Agriculture and assisted
in the introduction of the new Egyptian Cotton known as Pima. Records
include correspondence with various individuals and organizations,
Hudson Cotton Plantation records, and various annual reports.
Supima
Association of America-MSS 99
This collection includes reports, financial records, meeting minutes,
research files, correspondence, photographs and scrapbooks of the
Supima Association of America and the Arizona Cotton Planting Seed
Distributors. Records range in date from 1954-1980.
