Personal & Political Papers of Senator Goldwater

The Personal and Political Papers of Senator Barry M. Goldwater
Call No. MS FM MSS 1
1000 linear ft.
The personal and political papers of Barry Goldwater span over 50 years. In addition to extensive legislative and campaign files, the collection includes microfilm, photographs, audio-visual material, artifacts, cartoons, clippings, albums, and memorabilia. As such, it is the cornerstone of AHF holdings. The Goldwater Collection is being re-processed to improve access, preservation, and retrieval. The goal is to re-house print material, incorporate numerous additions and create a finding aid by 2006 that reflects the recommended standards for arrangement and description for U.S. Senate collections.
